Strategic Plan Economic Development Worksession
Thursday, September 25, 1997
Members of the Euless City Council held a worksession on Thursday, September 25,
1997, in the Conference Room of the Euless City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless,
Texas, for discussion of an economic development strategic plan.
Those in attendance included:
Mayor Mary Lib Saleh
Mayor Pro Tern Charlie Miller
Council Member Carl Tyson
Council Member Leon Hogg
Council Member Glenn Walker
Council Member Katie Edwards
City Manager Tom Hart
Assistant City Manager Joe Hennig
Director of Economic Development and Marketing David Witcher
City Secretary Susan Crim
Director of Planning and Development Bo Bass
... Director of Economic Development David Witcher
Director of Finance Loretta Getchell
Administrative Assistant Scott Campbell
Mike Skaggs and Roy Williams of the Economic Development Group
City Council members outlined key sites in the city that they would like to see
developed, and the representatives from the Economic Development Group reported
that, after their study they would come back with recommendations of how to implement
their suggestions. Various potential development sites throughout the city were
discussed.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
