... MID-WINTER RETREAT AND WORKSESSION
The members of the Euless City Council held a mid-winter retreat and
worksession on Friday and Saturday, February 6-7, 1998, at the Cliffview Resort
in Clifton, Texas.
Those attending included Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro Tem Charlie Miller,
Council Members Carl Tyson, Leon Hogg, Bobby Baker, Glenn Walker, and Katie
Edwards, City Manager Tom Hart, Deputy City Manager Joe Hennig, City
Secretary Susan Crim, Director of Administration Tom Cox and Administrative
Assistant Scott Campbell.
City Manager Tom Hart presented the Council Members with a financial update for
the current fiscal year including that of the Texas Star Golf Course and Conference
Centre. Director of Administration Tom Cox disucssed the City's facilities master
plan and gave a report on the City's Information Services Department. Deputy City
Manager Joe Hennig presented an economic development report, an update on
the City's capital improvements projects, and a report on entryway signs and city-
wide fence policies. Administrative Assistant Scott Campbell reviewed the 'Raving
Fans' program and the All American City Award application.
