Wednesday, February 25, 1998
Members of the Euless City Council held a worksession on Wednesday, February 25,
1998, in the Conference Room of the Euless City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless,
Texas, to hear the final presentation of the Strategic Plan from Mike Skaggs of the
Economic Development Group, Inc.
Those in attendance included:
Mayor Pro Tern Charlie Miller
Council Member Carl Tyson
Council Member Leon Hogg
Council Member Glenn Walker
City Manager Tom Hart
Deputy City Manager Joe Hennig
Director of Economic Development and Marketing David Witcher
City Secretary Susan Crim
Mike Skaggs and Roy Williams of the Economic Development Group

A Strategic Plan for Economic Development which had been prepared for the City of
Euless by the Economic Development Group, Inc., was presented and discussed. The
process, vision, mission and analysis were reviewed, and the council members had an
opportunity to ask questions regarding the presentation. The focus, priorities and
recommendations were summarized in written format and distributed.
A discussion was held on how the presentation could apply to specific areas of the City
of Euless. The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
