The members of the Euless City Council held a worksession on Thursday, June 4, 1998,
at 5:00 p.m. in the downstairs Conference Room of Building A at the Municipal Complex,
201 North Ector Drive, Euless, to discuss departmental budget needs.

Director of Community Services Rick Herold announced that the Parks at Texas Star is
being previewed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as one of the premier
facilities in the State.
City Manager Tom Hart announced that he has been selected by the International City
Manager's Association to participate in a cultural exchange program. He will spend two
weeks in Japan beginning in late September.
Presentations were made by the director of each department detailing their supplemental
and capital requests for Fiscal Year 1998-99. City Manager Torn Hart explained that the
requests were unedited at this point and were presented to Council Members for any
input they might have regarding the rating of the requests for the budget to be discussed
in detail at the Budget Worksession July 31 - August 2, 1998.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. in order to go into a Special Called Meeting for
the purpose of holding a closed session to discuss personnel.
