EULESS CITY COUNCIL
May 4, 1999
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Mary
Lib Saleh at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 1999, in the downstairs conference room of
the Administration Building. Those present included Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro
Tem Charlie Miller and Council Member Leon Hogg. Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the
Texas Election Code, two members of the City Council constitute a quorum for purposes
of canvassing an election.
Staff Members Present
Staff member present was City Secretary Susan Crim.
ITEM NO. 1 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 99-1021 CANVASSING THE MAY 1,
1999 CITY COUNCIL GENERAL ELECTION
Council Member Leon Hogg motioned to approve Resolution No. 99-1021, canvassing
the results of the May 1, 1999 City Council General Election as follows:
MAYOR Mary Lib Saleh 832
Don "General" Suges 191
PLACE 2 Leon Hogg 532
Kerry Cook 413
PLACE 4 Charlie Miller 806
TOTAL VOTERS: 1,052
Mayor Pro Tern Charlie Miller seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Saleh, Mayor Pro Tern Charlie Miller and Council Member Leon Hogg
Nays: None
Mayor Saleh declared the motion carried.

1999 CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL ELECTION
Mayor Pro Tern Charlie Miller motioned to approve Resolution No. 99-1022, canvassing
the results of the May 1, 1999 City Council Special Election as follows:
PLACE 5 Glenn Porterfield 575
Stephen A. West 73
Carroll Scott 345
TOTAL VOTERS: 1,052
Council Member Leon Hogg seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Saleh, Mayor Pro Tern Charlie Miller and Council Member Leon Hogg
Nays: None
Mayor Saleh declared the motion carried.
