EULESS CITY COUNCIL
September 7, 1999
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor
Mary Lib Saleh at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 1999, in the downstairs
conference room of the Administration Building. Those present included Mayor
Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro Tem Miller and Council Members Carl Tyson, Leon
Hogg, Bobby Baker and Glenn Porterfield. Council Member Katie Edwards was
not in attendance.
Staff Members Present
City Manager Joe Hennig, Deputy City Manager Gary McKamie, City Secretary
Susan Crim, and Director of Planning & Development Bo Bass.
ITEM NO. 1 INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1381
Ordinance No. 1381 providing for the annexation of a certain 21.3 acres of land,
more or less, known as Lot 1, Block 1, Flight Instrument Addition and a portion of
South Pipeline Road, was introduced to the City Council. It was noted that two
required public hearings had been held on July 29, 1999, and August 17, 1999,
and the ordinance will be published in the newspaper at least 30 days prior to
final action being considered on October 12.
City Manager Joe Hennig reported that the City of Fort Worth recently took final
action to disannex the property from their city, leaving it available for the
annexation by the City of Euless to take place.
