EULESS CITY COUNCIL
November 8, 1999
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order at 7:55 a.m. on
Monday, November 8, 1999, in the downstairs conference room of the Administration
Building. Those present included Council Members Bobby Baker and Leon Hogg.
Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the Texas Election Code, two members of the City Council
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election.

Staff member present was City Secretary Susan Crim.
APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 99-1044 CANVASSING THE NOVEMBER 2, 1999
SPECIAL ELECTION
Council Member Leon Hogg motioned to approve Resolution No. 99-1044, canvassing the
ti.. results of the November 2, 1999 Special Election as follows:
The proposition and vote count are as follows:
Authorizing the City of Euless, Texas, to impose a tax on the
gross rental receipts from the short-term rental in the City of a
motor vehicle rental tax at a maximum rate of five percent (5%)
with the revenue to be shared with the cities of Dallas and Fort
Worth, Texas, under a revenue sharing agreement.
For 1,424
Against 295
Council Member Baker seconded the motion.
Ayes: Council Members Hogg and Baker
Nays: None
The motion was declared carried.
