CITY COUNCIL MID-WINTER WORKSESSION

Mayor Saleh called the worksession to order at 9:15 a.m. at the Texas Star Conference Center
in Euless, Texas. Those present included:

Fire Chief Lee Koontz Director of Finance Loretta Getchell
Director of Development Bo Bass Byron Folse, architect
Director of Economic Development Andrea Baxter
Assistant Director of Public Works Ron Young
Topics of discussion included:
Cooperation with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District on the removal of
`.. trees on Midway Drive to relocate the birds nesting there.
City facility plan and discussion of departments and needs for buildings.
Emergency Management Siren System and various alternatives.
Financial Report Update.
New expense reporting form.
City's participation in 2012 Olympics.
North Main Street road construction and redevelopment plan.
Council travel policy.
The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. and the Council Members and staff returned for dinner
with spouses at 6:30 p.m.
