JOINT MEETING
EULESS CITY COUNCIL
EULESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
EULESS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD
APRIL 18, 2001
A meeting was held on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room
of the Euless City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless, Texas, with members of the
Euless City Council, Euless Development Corporation and the Euless Economic
Development Advisory Board in attendance.
Those present included:

Council Member Veva Lou Massey
Euless Development Corporation members:
Carmen Deithloff, Sonja Adams and Wayne Marrs
Economic Development Advisory Board members:
Michael Cornell, Rick Vaughn, Gary Green, Ned Burleson, Mike Utzman and Robert
Carter
City Manager Joe Hennig
Deputy City Manager Gary McKamie
City Secretary Susan Crim
Director of Planning and Development Mike Collins
Director of Economic Development Bill Ridgway
Economic Development Special Projects Manager Lou Baum
Communications/Marketing Manager Lori De La Cruz
Economic Development Administrative Assistant Kathy Rezin
Bob Bolen and Bill Shelton with the Cornerstone Group facilitated a workshop aimed at
developing an action plan for economic development in the City of Euless. They
covered economic development laws, developing and maintaining partnerships,
selecting locations, incentives and how to build competitive and effective programs.
It was announced that a second session would be held on May 2, 2001, to conclude the
workshop.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
