JOINT MEETING
EULESS CITY COUNCIL
EULESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
EULESS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD
MAY 2, 2001
A meeting was held on Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room
of the Euless City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless, Texas, with members of the
Euless City Council, Euless Development Corporation and the Euless Economic
Development Advisory Board in attendance.
Those present included:
Mayor Pro Tern Leon Hogg Council Member Carl Tyson
Council Member Glenn Porterfield Council Member Veva Lou Massey
Euless Development Corporation members:
Carmen Deithloff, Sonja Adams and Wayne Marrs
Economic Development Advisory Board members:
Michael Cornell, Rick Vaughn, Gary Green, Ned Burleson, Mike Utzman, Chris Packard
and Alex Horton
City Manager Joe Hennig
Deputy City Manager Gary McKamie
City Secretary Susan Crim
Director of Planning and Development Mike Collins
Director of Economic Development Bill Ridgway
Economic Development Special Projects Manager Lou Baum
Communications/Marketing Manager Lori De La Cruz
Economic Development Administrative Assistant Kathy Rezin
Bob Bolen and Bill Shelton with the Cornerstone Group facilitated the second of two
workshops aimed at developing an action plan for economic development in the City of
Euless. They led the group to identify the City's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities
and threats. They encouraged the group to have a vision and dream.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
