HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-02-18 (HEB Econ Dev Foundation) EULESS CITY COUNCIL ,., and HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION Monday, February 18, 2002 6:00 p.m. Pat May Center, Bedford, Texas Members of the Euless City Council attended a joint meeting of the Hurst-Euless- Bedford Economic Development Foundation (HEBEDF) along with representatives from the City of Hurst, City of Bedford, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District (HEBISD) and the HEB Chamber of Commerce on Monday, February 18, 2002, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pat May Center in Bedford, Texas. Representatives from the City of Euless included: Mayor Mary Lib Saleh and Ray Saleh Council Member Leon Hogg and Jan Hogg Council Member Glenn Porterfield City Manager Joe Hennig Deputy City Manager Gary McKamie Director of Economic Development Bill Ridgway City Secretary Susan Crim The invocation was given by Dr. Jeff Burnett, Pastor, First Baptist Church of Hurst and Board Member of the HEDISD. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Euless City Councilman Leon Hogg. HEB Chamber Board President and CEO Mary Frazior introduced the board members of the prior year and current year HEBEDF. The economic development directors of each of the three cities: Mike Morgan, City of Hurst; Bill Ridgway, City of Euless; and Tedra Cheatham, City of Bedford, gave brief overviews of the activity in their city during the past year. Bob Bolen, former Mayor of Fort Worth and the current Senior Advisor to the Chancellor of Texas Christian University, was the keynote speaker.
