May 6, 2003
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order at 11:30 a.m. on
Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in the Council Chambers in Building 'B', 201 N. Ector Drive, Euless,
Texas. Those present included Mayor Pro Tem Tyson and Council Member Leon Hogg.
Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the Texas Election Code, two members of the City Council
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election.
Staff Members Present
City Secretary Susan Crim.
ITEM NO. 1 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 03-1154 CANVASSING THE MAY 3,
2003, CITY COUNCIL GENERAL ELECTION
Council Member Leon Hogg motioned to approve Resolution No. 03-1154, canvassing the
results of the May 3, 2003, City Council General Election as follows:
TOTAL
Place 5 Glenn Porterfield 525
Place 6 Veva Lou Massey 540
Greg Black 180
TOTAL VOTERS: 725
Mayor Pro Tern Tyson seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Pro Tern Tyson and Council Member Hogg
Nays: None
The motion was declared carried.
