Members of the Euless City Council attended a joint meeting of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford
Economic Development Foundation along with representatives from the City of Hurst, City of
Bedford, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District and the HEB Chamber of
Commerce on Monday, February 16, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pat May Center in Bedford,
Texas.
Representatives from the City of Euless included:
Mayor Mary Lib Saleh
Council Member Leon Hogg and Jan Hogg
Council Member Glenn Porterfield and Diane Porterfield
Council Member Veva Lou Massey and David Massey
City Manager Joe Hennig
Deputy City Manager Gary McKamie
Nu. Director of Economic Development Bill Ridgway
City Secretary Susan Crim
Economic Development Secretary Kaye Anderson
Special Projects Manager Lou Baum
and
Euless Economic Development Advisory Board Members Linda Caram, Mike Utzman, Ned
Burleson, Alaudin Khuwaja, Alex Horton, Donna Mickan, Jerry Goad, Kelly Roberts, Steve
Johnson, and Euless Development Corporation Board Members Sonja Adams and Carmen
Diethloff.
Economic Development Directors Bill Syblon of Bedford, Mike Morgan of Hurst and Bill Ridgway
of Euless gave development updates of the activity in their city during the past year.
Scott Baum, Area Manager for Network Engineering with SBC and Robert Scalapino, Manager
of Engineering Design with SBC gave an economic forecast for Northeast Tarrant County.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
