CITY COUNCIL MID-WINTER WORKSESSION
FEBRUARY 19, 2005

Mayor Mary Lib Saleh called the worksession to order at 8:30 a.m. at the Texas Star
Conference Center in Euless, Texas.
Those present included:

City Manager Joe Hennig
Assistant City Manager Loretta Getchell

Director of Planning and Development Mike Collins
Director of Public Works Ron Young
Director of Parks and Community Services Ray McDonald
The Council Members and staff took a bus tour through the City to view City facilities, road
�► projects, ongoing and potential economic development projects and parks facilities.
When the group returned to the Texas Star Conference Centre at 10:45 a.m., Director of Public
Works Ron Young and Director of Parks and Community Services Ray McDonald left the
meeting.
Topics of discussion included:
D Economic Development projects in the City
D Public Art projects at the Library and Veterans Field at the Parks at Texas Star
D Evaluation of Sister Cities program
D Employee health insurance plan update
D City facility plan
• Internal audit procedure discussion
Y Fiscal Year 2005-2006 preliminary budget preparation discussion
The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m
