HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-02-20 (HEB Econ Dev Foundation) EULESS CITY COUNCIL and HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION Monday, February 20, 2006 6:00 p.m. Pat May Center, Bedford, Texas Members of the Euless City Council attended a joint meeting of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Economic Development Foundation along with representatives from the City of Hurst, City of Bedford, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District and the HEB Chamber of Commerce on Monday, February 20, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pat May Center in Bedford, Texas. Representatives from the City of Euless included: Mayor Mary Lib Saleh Mayor Pro Tern Glenn Porterfield and Diane Porterfield Council Member Leon Hogg and Jan Hogg Council Member Linda Martin and Don Martin Council Member Veva Lou Massey and David Massey City Manager Joe Hennig e Deputy City Manager Gary McKamie Assistant City Manager Loretta Getchell Director of Economic Development Bill Ridgway City Secretary Susan Crim Communications and Marketing Manager Betsy Boyett and Euless Economic Development Advisory Board Members Alex Horton, Donna Mickan, Jerry Goad and Mary Shepherd Economic Development Directors Mike Morgan of Hurst, Bill Ridgway of Euless and Jim Starr of Bedford gave development updates of the activity in their city during the past year. Michael Morris, Director of Transportation, North Central Texas Council of Governments, discussed "Why Should Business Care About Rail Transit".
