THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2009
CALL TO ORDER
Assistant Police Chief Bob Freeman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and
announced that this is the 16th consecutive year the City of Euless has held Town Hall
meetings.
COUNCIL AND STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT
Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro Tern Linda Martin and Council Members Tim
Stinneford, Leon Hogg, Donna Mickan, Glenn Porterfield and Perry Bynum participated in
the panel along with staff department directors.
Staff members present, in addition to Assistant Police Chief Bob Freeman, included City
Manager Gary McKamie, Deputy City Manager Loretta Getchell, City Secretary Susan
Crim, Police Chief Mike Brown, Public Works Director Ron Young, Director of Economic
Development Bill Ridgway, Director of Planning and Development Mike Collins, Fire Chief
Robert Isbell, Police Lieutenants Wayne Pavlik, Joe Kraft, Steve Kockos, John Williams
and Danny Neill, Sergeants Eric Starnes and David S. Chaney, Senior Corporal Kim
Althouse, Neighborhood Police Officer Sheli Hartley, City Engineer Robert Barker,
stow Assistant Director of Planning and Development Chris Barker, Senior Planner Stephen
Cook, Public Works Manager J. T. Ackerman, Parks Manager Randy Smith, Recreation
Superintendent Michael Davenport, Librarian Kate Lyon and Special Projects Manager
Kay Godbey.

Inquiry regarding police substation
Director of Public Works Ron Young gave a presentation outlining the recent and
upcoming street overlay, street reconstruction and street light improvement projects. He
reported on recent traffic studies and the appropriate signal and signage improvements
related thereto. He updated the group regarding ongoing drainage, water and wastewater
projects and reported on fire hydrant maintenance and current animal services statistics.
Assistant Police Chief Bob Freeman announced the City's new designation of a Class
One Insurance Service Organization (ISO) Rating. He stated it is the highest rating a city
can receive and it indicates a City's ability to prevent and fight fires.

The Town Hall Meeting was adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
