This simple request from B.J. Murray started a thirteen-year career for Marcy Ridgway at Trinity High School. She served Trinity in the library, accounting office and most recently as Registrar. Her professional accomplishments during her time at Trinity include serving as class sponsor for the Class of 2004.She served as President of the Paraprofessionals Organization of HEB-ISD. Marcy was appointed to the Texas State Committee on Teacher re- certification in Austin. She has served on the Unity Committee and the Campus Improvement Committee at Trinity for most of her years there. She also participates in the mentoring program at Trinity. Marcy has been a strong supporter of student activities.She is always attending functions ° when students are involved. She can be seen at most sporting events,choir presentations, band competitions and one act plays. She has gone on numerous class trips and field trips as a chaperone. During its tenure she was one of the sponsors of the infamous Powder Puff Football game. Prior to her term with Trinity,Marcy served as the Regional Training Manager for Prime Hotel Corporation,covering the area west of the Mississippi. She also served as the college recruiter and trainer for Embassy Suites, interviewing management candidates in major universities all over the United States. In her earlier years she worked for Southwestern Bell,WIBW TV, the Kansas Legislature and Brock Hotel in Topeka, Kansas. Marcy is the proud mother of eight children and fourteen grandchildren. She and her husband Bill, who is the Director of Economic Development for the City of Euless, have lived in the HEB district for fifteen years. Marcy summarizes her time at Trinity this way: "For the past thirteen years Trinity has been my second family and the students and staff there are very close and dear to my heart.
