Vada, known to most as"Grand-
mother,"was the first city secretary
of Euless, serving from 1963 to
1974, Sunday school teacher at the
First Methodist Church of Euless,
first den mother for the Cub Scouts, j
and Woman of the Year 1974 and
*1975. Vada was an executive sec-
retary for the H.E.B. school district
and recipient of many outstanding
achievement awards.Vada enjoyed
most of all raising her children,
nature, the Dallas Cowboys and
was a best friend to all animals.She
was preceded in death by Reese
Tate, Mary Page, Ray Ross Ferris,
Jeffrey Ray Ferris -and Jessie L.
Gobin.
