Arbor Daze Festival in Euless

cations from artisans,busi-
nesses and other vendors
interested in displaying their '
wares at the annual event.
More than 250,000 visitors
are expected at the festival,

Douglas James McGrady
BEDFORD — Douglas
James McGrady, 60, passed
away Sunday,Feb.6,2005.
Funeral:10 a.m.Thursday
at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bed-
ford. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National
Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Forest Ridge Funeral
Home in Hurst.
Memorials:in lieu of flowers,please

fund at First National Bank, Mid-Cities,
4009 Airport Freeway in Bedford.
Douglas was bom Sept.9, 1944,in
Crowell to the late Robert L. McGrady
and Cleva W. Bryant McGrady. He
served his country during the Vietnam
War in the U.S.Army.
Douglas devoted his life to soccer.
He was a 15-year member of the Bed-
ford-Euless Soccer Association.He had
served as BESA president for the past
six years. He was assistant coach and
team manager for his son's soccer team.
He was responsible for the soccer por-
tion of the Games of Texas in the Mid-
Cities. He was also a member of the
Decatur 4X4 off-road racing club. He
won the grand prize for his float in the
Euless Parade of Lights.He was volun-
teer of the month for December for the
Euless Parks and Recreation Depart-
ment.
Douglass was preceded in death by
his parents and a brother, Bobby Dur-
wood McGrady.
Survivors: Wife, Yolanda; sons,
Nathan Douglass McGrady and Nolan
Robert McGrady; brothers, Fred
McGrady and Marshall McGrady; sis-
ters,Susie Batey and Betty Reich;and a
host of nieces, nephews, friends and
extended family members.

Man stabbed during
attack,police say
EULESS—A man with three.
stab wounds ran to a Bedford
gasoline station for help Tuesday
morning after he was attacked by
three men at his Euless apart-
ment complex,police said.
The man,whom police did not
identify,was taken to John Peter
Smith Hospital in-Fort Worth.His
condition was unavailable,but his
injuries were not believed to be
life-threatening,Euless police Lt.
Steve Eskew said.
The stabbing occurred shortly
before noon near Fuller-Wiser
Road in Euless.The;man told
police that he was taking his
