' years ago,Kathi Davis,one of
the event committee members,
told me this week.Many peo-
ple who benefit from the orga-
nization were frustrated when,
although their normal rehab
was completed,they still need-
ed specialized equipment for
' any kind of exercise.Those
with spinal-cord injuries,multi-
ple sclerosis,spina bifida and,
polio have gravitated to the
' foundation.
"There was no place for us
to exercise,"said Kathi,who
' has used a wheelchair for nine
years."So many people needed
it that it just grew.I'd love to
see places like this all over the
' country,because everyone
needs to exercise."

Dog Daze event offers

The Euless Animal Shelter will
host Dog Daze 2005 from 9 am.
