The City Council meeting will begin with a ceremony honoring the military and includ- ing a twist. Against a background of red, white and blue bunting, the presentation will feature the posting of the colors by American Legion Hurst-Euless-Bedford Post 379,a recounting of the history of Veterans Day,a poetry read- ing and a prayer. The dais will be adorned with Boston ferns and live oaks,and each pot will have a small American flag. -The bonus:Attendees will be able to take __ , home a tree for free.
