called Bailey,she said.
Sullivan could not be

Bailey was stunned by the
phone call.
"They told me she was
dead," Bailey said. "I thought
someone was pulling a joke_.I .r

Cody Lassiter, Dorothy .
Lassiter's then 17-year-old son

Police questioned Connor
and everyone at the home
about the evening before Dor-
othy Lassiter died.
They found a syringe but
no drugs in Lassiter's bed-
room.
Connor has never talked to
Bailey about that morning.
In January, he was sen-
tenced to 10 months in jail for
two forgery cases in Grape-
vine and five fraud cases in
Euless.
He was released a few
weeks ago.
Euless police say they have
checked every aspect of Lassi-
ter's case and have no unan-
swered questions,Pavlik said.
"We conducted a thorough "
investigation," Pavlik said.
"There was a history of drug
use."
Bailey says she won't stop
looking for answers.
"One of these days,I'm go-
ing to find out," Bailey said.
"I'm convinced that I will."
