She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Eu- J less, where she taught Sunday school,sang in the choir and was an active member of Methodist wom- en's organizations. At the time of her death,she was the oldest member of First United Methodist Church of Euless.She was also a proud member of the Kitchen Band at the Euless Senior Citizens Center, where she enjoyed playing the wash tub. She celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends April 29,2007. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years,Abe Payton.
