Beautify Euless Everyday (B.E.E.)
December 16, 1992
CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the "BEE" Committee was held
at the Ruth Millican Center by Leon Hogg, Euless Parks and Recreation
Board Chairman.
ATTENDEES: Leon Hogg
Tom Kindinger
Irene Rosecrans
Diane Eggers
INTRODUCTION OF NEW MEMBERS AND GUESTS: Acting Chairman Hogg intro-
duced Diane Eggers, Volunteer Coordinator for the City.
MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING: Minutes of the last meeting were amended
to add Irene Rosecrans to attendee list. They were then approved.
VOLUNTEER HOURS: Volunteer Hours were reported for the month of
December, 1991.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: Tom Kindinger reported that Fina Mart at 157 &
Euless Blvd. was pleased with the "Beautification Award". Member
Rosecrans nominted Wilshire Elementary to get the award for December.
It was discussed and passed to give them the award for December.
Member Kindinger turned in a Press release about our BEE Committee.
It will be given to Beth Earle for publication.
Mr. Hogg gave a brief update on happenings of Parks and Leisure
Services - the progress of Bear Creek Park and Bob Edens Memorial.
They are still waiting on the completion of Highway 10.
TREE RECYCLING: Discussion was held regarding the BEE Committee
involvement in the Recycling, it was discussed and decided that the
BEE Committee would work on Saturday, the 28th of December 1991.

REPORT ON FEBRUARY RECRUITMENT MONTH: Discussion was held about
February Recruitment getting other Boards and interested people to
attend. Possibly Carolyn Parks and former members of the BEE
Committee.
Member Kindinger discussed various means of getting people to attend
and keeping them involved in the BEE Committee once they become members.
NEW BUSINESS: Tom Kindinger presented the draft of the new BEE
flier to be handed out during the tree recycling days. It was dis-
cussed and decided to have the fliers printed by Quik Copy.
Member Rosecrans made a motion to adjourn. It was second by Member
Kindinger.
