Police seek help finding Alzheimer's patient
— EULESS-Police are asking for the public's help finding

Man with Alzheimer's is found safe
EULESS-A 75-year-old man with Alzheimer's who
was reported missing Thursday was found Friday night
at a gas station in Ranger,more than 100 miles west of
his home in Euless.Gerald Wayne Nordin drove away
from home about 11 a.m.Thursday.A police spokes-
man
pokes man said an employee at Love's Travel Stop,in Ranger
first helped Nordin after he ran out of gas Friday.The
employee,Travis Clayton,told police that he recog-
nized Alzheimer's symptoms because he has a relative
with the disease.Employees found a phone number for
one of Nordin's neighbors and also called police.Fami-
ly friends returned Nordin and his car home,the _.

EULESS—A Bedford
woman whose family had
reported her missing
Tuesday evening was
found dead Wednesday
morning in a park near her
home police reported.
The body of Vicky Hoover,
53,was in a wooded area
of West Park off Westpark
Way in Euless,said Lt. Kirk
Roberts,Bedford police -
spokesman. Hoover lived
on Aquaduct Court in
Bedford,a few blocks west
of the park."There are
just,no signs of foul play
or trauma to the body,"
Roberts said."We don't
believe it was a violent
attack of any kind,but we
_ don't know the cause of
death,either."The low
temperature overnight
was in the mid-20s.The
Tarrant County medical
examiner's office will
determine the cause of
death,he said.

David Joel Priest
(1949 - 2009) -
David Joel Priest, 60, retired from the Euless -
Police Department, died Monday, Dec. 21 , 2009,
in Fort Worth.

Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday at Arlington
Baptist Church, 3434 S. Collins Street. -
David Joel Priest was a devoted husband, father and brother. He
was born June 9, 1949, in Fort Worth. Heand Suke were married
May 18, 1973, in Fort Worth.
David was preceded in death by his mother and father, Joel
Tunney and Kerna Ruth Priest. -
Survivors: His loving wife of 36 years, Pil lm Ko; daughter, -
Christine; son, David Jr.; brothers, James and Daniel Priest;
sister, Rebecca Priest; their families; his chubby Chihuhua, JoJo; -
numerous friends, colleagues and other family members.
