did not appear to be life-
threatening, police said.
The incident happened
shortly before 6 p.m. near
Ector Drive. The child's
parents were notified, and
Child Protective Services
was contacted,police said.
No criminal charges are
expected,police said.

EULESS — A motorist

port Freeway was killed
Tuesday evening when an-
other vehicle hit him, po-
lice reported. The man,
identified as Fabio Flores,
49,of Euless,had pulled to
the side of northbound
lanes of the freeway be-
tween Cheek-Sparger and
Glade roads. He was hit
about 5:15 p.m., said Sgt.
Gary Landers, a police
spokesman. The other
driver stopped, Landers
said. Lanes of the freeway
were closed for nearly two
hours as investigators tried
to determine the cause of
