May 14, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda
Martin at 2:30 p. m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, in the Mayor's Conference Room in City
Hall, 201 N. Ector Drive, Euless, Texas. Those present included Mayor Linda Martin and
Council Members Linda Eilenfeldt and Harry Zimmer.
Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the Texas Election Code, two members of the City Council
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT
City Secretary Kim Sutter
Deputy City Secretary Lindsay Wells
ITEM NO. 1 CANVASSED THE RETURNS AND DECLARED THE RESULTS
OF THE MAY 5, 2018 CITY COUNCIL GENERAL ELECTION
City Secretary Kim Sutter presented the results of the May 5, 2018 City Council General
Election:
TOTAL PERCENTAGE
Place 5 Harry Zimmer 2,395 70.36%
Tim St. Clair 1,009 29.64%
Place 6 Molly Maddux 2,083 49.56%
Salman Bhojani 2,120 50.44%
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST: 4,239 (14.11% voter turnout)
Council Member Eilenfeldt motioned to canvass the returns and declare the results of the
May 5, 2018 City Council General Election as presented.
Mayor Martin seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin and Council Members Eilenfeldt and Zimmer
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:32 p.m.
