MINUTES OF SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
JUNE 25, 1996
The Board of Directors of the EULESS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT, convened in public meeting on the date and at the hour and place specified
in the Notice thereof, such Notice having been posted as prescribed by Article 6252-17,
V.A.T.C.S., and the roll of the duly constituted and appointed members of the Board of
Directors was called, which members are as follows, to-wit:
Ron Shields, President
Lou Baum, Vice-President
Barney Snitz
Mary Lib Saleh
Glenn Walker
Carl Tyson
Katie Edwards
and all of such persons were present, except President Ron Shields and Mary Lib Saleh,
thus constituting a quorum. Whereupon, the Vice-President presented the following:
A Resolution relating to repeal of the exemption of telecommunication
services from taxation of the one-fourth of one percent limited sales and use
tax levied by the Euless Crime Control and Prevention District.
The Resolution was read and reviewed by the Board of Directors.
Upon motion by Glenn Walker and second by Katie Edwards, the Resolution was passed
and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Lou Baum, Barney Snitz, Glenn Walker, Carl Tyson,
Katie Edwards
NOES: None
ABSTENTIONS: None
The Vice-President then declared the Resolution passed and signed and approved the
same in the presence of the Board of Directors.

There being no further business to come before the Board, the Vice-President adjourned
the meeting.
