A RESOLUTION RELATING TO A PUBLIC HEARING AND PROVIDING FOR THE
U NDERTAKING AND EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR A PROJECT INVOLVING
IMPROVEMENTS TO PARK AND PARKS FACILITIES LOCATED AT THE PARKS AT
TEXAS STAR, INCLUDING SOFTBALL FACILITIES AND RESOLVING OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT AND RELATED THERETO .
WHEREAS , the Secretary of the Euless Development Corporation caused to be published in the
Fort Worth Star Telegram on August 1 , 2018 , a notice of public hearing to be held by the Board of
D irectors of the Corporation on August 13 , 2018 , on the undertaking and expenditure of funds for a project
involving improvements to parks and parks facilities located at the Parks at Texas Star, including softball
facilities ; and
WHEREAS , the public hearing was held and conducted on the date and at the time and place
stated in said notice , and after describing the Project and its estimated costs , all persons present at such
public hearing were given the opportunity to make a statement regarding such Project and the
expenditure of Corporation funds therefore ; and
WHEREAS , following such public hearing on the Project and considering any issues raised about
the Project , the Board of Directors hereby finds and determines the Project should be undertaken and
Corporation funds expended for its accomplishment .
N OW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE EULESS
D EVELOPMENT CORPORATION , THAT :
S ECTION 1 .
The Project involving improvements to parks and parks facilities located at the Parks at Texas
Star, including softball facilities is hereby determined to be an authorized project within the meaning of
Chapters 501 , 502 and 505 of the Texas Local Government Code , as amended , and such project is
hereby approved .
S ECTION 2 .
The acts of the Secretary of the Corporation in causing notice of public hearing on said Project to
be published in the Fort Worth Star Telegram on August 1 , 2018 , are hereby approved , ratified and
confirmed in all respects .
S ECTION 3 .
It is officially found , determined , and declared that the meeting at which this Resolution is adopted
was open to the public and public notice of the time , place , and subject matter of the public business to
be considered at such meeting , including this Resolution , was given , all as required by Texas
Government Code , Chapter 551 , as amended
PASSED AND ADOPTED , this 13th day of August 2018 .
