RESOLUTION NO. 95-02 CCPD
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING
RESULTS OF A SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF
EULESS,TEXAS, ON NOVEMBER 7,1995, FOR THE ADOPTION
OR REJECTION OF THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AN
ADDITIONAL ONE-QUARTER OF ONE PERCENT SALES AND
USE TAX FOR THE CREATION OF THE EULESS MUNICIPAL
CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT; AND
DECLARING THE CREATION OF THE EULESS MUNICIPAL
CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Euless, Texas on the 7th day of November, 1995, an
election at which there was submitted to the duly qualified resident electors of the City of Euless,
Texas, for their action and vote therefore a proposition for the adoption or rejection of the levy
and collection of an additional one-quarter of one percent sales and use tax for the creation of
the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District pursuant to the provisions of Section
3.02 of Article 2370c-4, Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann.
WHEREAS, there were at said election a total of 1800 voters; and
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of said City of Euless, Texas, voted at said
election, and said election was called and held in strict conformity with the laws of the State of
Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE TEMPORARY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE EULESS MUNICIPAL CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT,
THAT:
SECTION 1
The election described in the preamble to this Resolution was duly called and notice thereof given
in accordance with the law; that said election was held in the manner required by law; that only
duly qualified resident electors of the City of Euless, Texas, voted at said election; that due
returns of said election have been made by the proper officers; that votes cast at said election
on the proposed proposition were as follows:
PROPOSITION
The creation of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention
District dedicated to crime reduction programs and the adoption of
a proposed local sales and use tax at a rate of one-quarter of one
percent.
FOR: 1212
AGAINST: 557
The proposition was therefore approved by the voters of the City of Euless, Texas.

SECTION 2
The Temporary Board of Directors of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District,
hereby officially declares that the proposed proposition has been properly and lawfully adopted
in accordance with the provisions of Article 2370c-4, Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann.
SECTION 3
The Temporary Board of Directors of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District
declares the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District is hereby officially created.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the Temporary Board of Directors of the Euless Municipal Crime
Control and Prevention District on the 14th day of November, 1995, by a vote of 6 ayes, 0
nays, and o abstentions.
