Minutes
October 8, 2018
CALL TO ORDER Chairperson, Mavy Wright, called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. The meeting was held at the Euless City Hall, Euless.
MEMBERS PRESENT Doris Brown, Al Browning, Bill Buyers, Joe Cannon, Weldon Cannon, Barbara Collier, Gary Fieldsend, Marilyn Long, Don Martin, David and Veva Lou Massey, Anniece McKanna, Suzy McCormick, Gary Parker, Helen Payton, Peggy Vandiver, Andy Weinzapfel, Norma Lively and Mavy Wright.
STAFF PRESENT Director of Parks and Community Services, Ray McDonald, Recreation Manager Frank Ocampo and Projects Coordinator Ofa Faiva-Siale.
VISITORS PRESENT Mary Francis Hunt (Weldon Cannon and Joe Cannons’ cousin)
APPROVAL OF MINUTES Doris Brown made a correction to the Treasurer’s Report; it should say, “the current balance on September 10, 2018 is $11,209.48.” Andy Weinzapfel made a correction under Artifact Recover report; it should say, “metal detect the Mosier Valley area.” Weldon Cannon made a correction under Committee Report item 2d; it should say, “more security and accessibility”. Don Martin made a motion to approve the minutes with the correction. Al Browning seconded the motion. All were in favor, minutes approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT The previous balance was $11,209.48. There was an expenditure of $50 for Lance Tahmahkera. There were two deposits in the amounts of $26 (money jar) and $18 (Moneybox). The current balance as of October 8, 2018 is $11,203.48.
