EULESS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
MINUTES
OCTOBER 6, 1994
A special meeting of the Euless Industrial Development Authority was called to order at
4:35 p.m. on October 6, 1994 in Conference Room 2 of the Municipal Administration
Building, 201 North Ector, Euless, Texas.
Those present included Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Councilman Henry Boatright, Helen
Lightbody, Harold Samuels, City Manager Tom Hart, Assistant City Manager Joe Hennig,
City Attorney Bob McFarland and City Secretary Susan Crim.
The City Attorney reviewed the history of laws enabling the creation of industrial
development authorities and specifically the one in the City of Euless.
Election of Officers
Harold Samuels nominated Mayor Saleh as president. Councilman Boatright seconded
the motion and the vote was unanimous.
Minutes of March 22, 1994, meeting
Councilman Boatright moved to approve the minutes of the March 22, 1994 meeting. The
motion was seconded by Helen Lightbody and the vote was unanimous.
Resolution
Harold Samuels moved to approve a resolution providing for a supplemental indenture
in conjunction with those certain Euless Industrial Development Authority Industrial
Development Revenue Bonds(Atlas March Corporation Project) Series 1985. The motion
was seconded by Helen Lightbody and carried by unanimous vote.
Discussion
Harold Samuels asked if there will be any action that will be necessary as a result of the
sale of Atlas Match Corporation. The City Attorney replied that there would not be.
Helen Lightbody asked if there is anything in the foreseeable future that would fall within
the scope of this Board. City Attorney McFarland said he was not aware of anything.
As there was no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
