By attending these courses, I gained some hands- on experience, learned how our Police and Fire Departments work and met some incredible people. Volunteering was a rewarding experience and part of the natural progression that led me to run for Mayor. If you are eager for more knowledge about our Police and Fire Departments, I encourage you to enroll in either the Euless Citizens Police Academy or the Euless Citizens Fire Academy. Classes start this month. On another subject, I would like to make you aware of our convenient Book Locker that’s located on the south side of City Hall. It’s like an ATM that dispenses library books, CDs and DVDs instead of cash. And, like an ATM, it takes deposits, so you can return all your library materials there too. The next time you place a book or other library item on hold, try the Book Locker. It’s fun and convenient.
