Mayor Martin called the worksession to order at 8:32 a.m. at the Texas Star Conference
Center in Euless, Texas.

City Manager Loretta Getchell welcomed everyone and reviewed the topics to be covered.
Parks Master Plan
Parks and Community Services Director Ray McDonald presented the construction update
and long term plan for the Parks Master Plan specifically related to Carr, Kiddie Carr,
Wilshire, Blessing Branch, and South Euless Parks and the Parks at Texas Star, including
softball facilities. Additionally, he presented a tentative timeline to complete each project.
FY 2018-2019 Financial Update
Finance Director Janina Jewell presented FY 2018-2019 year to date financial update.
FY 2019-20 Budget Considerations —All Funds
City Manager Getchell presented the FY 2019-2020 budget considerations, and Finance
Director Jewell reviewed the 2019-2020 budget meeting schedule.
The City Council recessed briefly for lunch at 12:01 p.m. and reconvened the worksession
at 12:30 p.m.
Drainage Update
Assistant City Manager Chris Barker escorted the City Council on a tour of Texas Star Golf
Course to view drainage issues along the course. Upon return, he then presented an
update regarding those issues.

Branding Update
City Manager Getchell provided a brief history of the City's logos. Discussion ensued
regarding updating the City's logo.
Mayor Martin expressed her appreciation to the City Council for their attendance.
The worksession was adjourned at 2:33 p.m.
