EGSA Commissioner Danny Renteria said this is his ninth year with EGSA, has been coaching for
the last eight years and has been a commission the last three years. He said they had a good season
but the numbers are low due to a number of kids going to select leagues. This past year they played
at Softball World and the kids and parents really enjoyed playing at this facility. He said they still
practice at West Park but they did have a problem this last year with getting another port-o-let at
the other end of the park. He did ask if they could have the field's drug more often especially
before their practices. EGSA also interlocks with Hurst and Danny said they will be working with
Mark Long for registration this year. They do not have any fall leagues and they did have a fund
raiser this past year. Their current fee is $75 and includes a full uniform (shirt, shorts and socks)
for the players.
Chairman Owens thanked the associations for being present tonight and said we are looking
forward to working with them again.
