NEW BUSINESS
III. Beautification Award of the Month
Chairman Owens recognized Purita So, 1104 Deedee Creek Drive, as the October residential
Beautification Award of the Month. He said her yard is landscaped from front to back on her
corner lot. The use of shrubs and bedding plants is outstanding and the lawn is nice and green even
with the extended drought experienced this summer. One look and you know the owner takes pride
in her work. Chairman Owens said her plaque would be delivered to Ms. So since she was not able
to attend tonight.
Chairman Owens said the October business/civic/governmental Beautification Award goes to
Ricochet Fuel located at 1204 Royal Parkway. He said this is a great example of how a Xeriscape
"Drought Tolerant" business landscape should look which catches your attention as you drive by.
Chairman Owens said the plaque would be delivered to Ricochet Fuel since they were not in
attendance tonight.
