A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, ADOPTING THE CITY OF EULESS PROPOSED BUDGET
CALENDAR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020, INCLUDING THE CRIME
CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT AND THE EULESS
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BUDGETS.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the City to
establish a meeting schedule relative to the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2019-2020
budget, and
WHEREAS, the budget calendar establishes meetings at a convenient date and
place; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt a proposed budget calendar for the
Fiscal Year 2019-2020 budget cycle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EULESS,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The City Council hereby adopts the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 proposed budget
calendar as shown in the attached Exhibit A. Dates are subject to adjustment due to
scheduling requirements. Meetings will be posted in accordance with the Texas Open
Meetings Act.
SECTION 2.
All resolutions, or parts of resolutions in force with provisions relating to this
resolution, which are inconsistent or in conflict with the terms or provisions contained
herein, are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict only. The non-conflicting
sections, sentences, paragraphs, and phrases shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
March 12, 2019 by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.

EDC budgets to be held August 27th. Hold Public Hearing on FY2020
CCPD Budget. Approve CCPD FY2020 Budget.
Tuesday, Hold Public Hearing on Proposed EDC and City FY2020 budgets. Hold 1St
August 27 Public Hearing on Proposed Tax Rate. Announce date, time and place of
2nd public hearing on the Tax Rate and announce date, time and place of
meeting to adopt the proposed tax rate for September 10th.
Tuesday, Special Called Meeting to Hold 2nd Public Hearing on Proposed Tax Rate.
September 3 Announce date, time and place of meeting to adopt the proposed tax rate
for Tax Year 2019 for September 10tH
Tuesday, Approve EDC Budget. First Reading and Adoption of the FY2020 Budget.
September 10 Ratify Property Revenue Increase. First Reading and Adoption of Tax
Rate. Adopt the Tax Roll.
Tuesday, Second Reading and Adoption of FY2020 Budget (if necessary). Final
September 24 Reading and Adoption of Tax Rate (if necessary).
All meetings held at City facilities. Dates subject to change due to rescheduling
requirements.
