OLD BUSINESS
Charlie Miller reported that Midway and Blessing Branch are both in good
shape. Basketball has gotten off to a good start at Midway.
Richard McNeese said that his parks, Del Norte and Van Riet, had little
activity but they look fine. Soccer is finished which may explain why the

Leon Hogg reported that Westpark and Wilshire look good but that at this time
of year they do not receive much use.
Jerry Robinson said that his parks are Oakwood Terrace, J.A. Carr Park, and
Kiddie Carr Park. He stated that he walked the track at J.A. Carr Park and
found it to be in good shape. He did notice one shopping cart in the creek.
Leon said that park assignments will be changed in January.
Leon also reported that at the last City Council meeting the sports
associations were given three options concerning the proposed field use fees:
- Pay the $3.00 fee as proposed.
- Pay labor costs as incurred and pay for material.
- Line the fields themselves and buy the material.
