Richard McNeese reported that the Year-to-Date expenditures total $10,243.00.
Euless will receive the honor of Tree City U.S.A. for the fourth year.
Mrs. Bonnie O'Brien said that she felt the board should act, one way or
another, on the recommendation of renaming Midway Field #2 after John
Chambers. It was discussed to take the donated funds and use them for
improvement for the field. A plaque would then be erected in the Recreation
Center telling what was done to the field in John Chambers' memory. For
future situations like this a minimum amount would be set to receive a plaque
in the building. Rick and Julia will try to come up with a viable program to
be presented at the next meeting.
