Concerning the Villages of Bear Creek grant, within a month we should have Park and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes August 07, 1989 Page 4 taken official deed of the property. A lot of compromises have had to be made especially with all of the flooding. The state will let us appraise the property with out the improvements (that are in disrepair due to the flooding). The areas involved in the turf improvement program are all looking very good. Bermuda growth has increased tremendously. The areas that look much better are in front of the library, Midway #1, Midway #4, Westpark, and Van Reit. Mrs. Wakeley explained that the kids can work for Midway Mulla and then this "money" can be used to purchase snacks at the concession stand. Marland asked what had happened with the driving range. Rick said that the planning and zoning department determined that there had to be a final plat on the property as to not waive any of the zoning ordinances for the city.
