May 14, 2019
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda
Martin at 3:45 p. m. on Monday, May 14, 2019, in the Mayor's Conference Room in City
Hall, 201 N. Ector Drive, Euless, Texas. Those present included Mayor Linda Martin and
Council Members Jeremy Tompkins and Harry Zimmer.
Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the Texas Election Code, two members of the City Council
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election.

City Secretary Kim Sutter
Deputy City Secretary Lindsay Wells
ITEM NO. 1 CANVASSED THE RETURNS AND DECLARED THE RESULTS
OF THE MAY 4, 2019 CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL ELECTION
City Secretary Kim Sutter presented the results of the May 4, 2019 City Council Special
Election:
TOTAL PERCENTAGE
Place 4 Perry Bynum 1,001 70.49%
Jared Hanhart 419 29.51%
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST: 1,529 (5.06% voter turnout)
Council Member Tompkins motioned to canvass the returns and declare the results of the
May 4, 2019 City Council Special Election as presented.
Council Member Zimmer seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin and Council Members Tompkins and Zimmer
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:47 p.m.
