Chairman Mike McGehee called the meeting to order at 7:00p.m.
DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES: The Chairman asked for a motion to be made to accept the March 4,2010
minutes. Beverly Leake made the motion to accept the minutes with corrections and Barney Snitz seconded the motion.
WELCOME VISITORS: Chairman Mike McGehee and Library Administrator,Kate Lyon welcomed Councilman
Leon Hogg and Jan Hogg to the meeting.
REPORT FROM THE LIBRARY ADMINISTRATOR:
Kate presented the February statistics. The library continues to be very busy. Youth activities were extremely high as a
result of Spring Break programs.
Masterworks Programs:
March 8,2010—Three Fools on Three Stools with 62 attending the program
April 12, 2010—Ke Anuenue Polynesian Revue at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room
May 10,2010—beatlegras
National Library Week is April 11th through 17t. The Mayor will read and present a Proclamation of National Library
Week to Kate at the City Council meeting on April 13,2010.
5th Annual Edible Book competition starts on April 14t.
Ellen Collins has the Arbor Daze t-shirt display on the wall over the New Book area.
DISCUSSIONS:
1. The Tile mural project was discussed. It was decided to table the subject until the next meeting in May when
more of the board members will be in attendance.
2. Beverly Leake is taking C.E.R.T. class
3. Marcia Brown is going to TLA in San Antonio

CITIZEN INPUT:
Councilman Hogg reports that CompUSA has opened. The Euless Revitalization Blitz had over 600 volunteers that
worked on 16 homes.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Chairman asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Barney Snitz and seconded by Adriane Weinstein.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
