Mr. Don Harris, representing the D/FYi Regbrial Air- ort Board, addressed their Concern
regarding development of residential property within noise zon,(-, "B". He further stated-
that this noise zone has been dehned by the Federal Aviation Administration,
Envirarvnental Protection Agency, and Veteran's Adn-3inistration as, being incornpatiole
for housing this close to Lhie airport. because of the noise, he stated that -jppro-val of
this cas-e would expose significant numbers of people Lo the aircraft noise generated by
the airport. He further stated that if this recriest was approved, they would like to
request two things:

Chairman Deithloff stated that the posting of these signs were not required by law.
Mr. Tyson stated tha.t the Commission had not heard from any of the hommowner's of
the •lea.dlowview Addition and would like to hear from someone roncerning the meeting
between them t--ind Paul Spain.

Mr. Power answered sorne of the citizens concerns as follows-

town and they hope to propose on behalf of the (.'-'ity El rnme up-to-date design.
Mr. Tyson asked what their plans were req---irding the right-of-way (if S.H. '160.
Mr. Spain stated that they plan to join with other owners of the; area to corne up with

Mr. McM llon stated his concern about the schools. Fie, further stated that if US
development were to take dace, the school board would do some planning for the,
future of drools in this area. The school district currently has school sites available

Mr. Lynch spoke on the. City's 'basic feelirq that single family type dwellings were not

Mr. Tyson stated that he was very much concerned about the C-1 area to the cast of
