Cannon files donated to The University of Texas at Arlington for special collections 2019 September 9 Dun Bradstreet —Credit ratings of Euless, Tarrant and Bedford businesses found in commercial ratings books published by Dun and Bradstreet Companies,1880-1963. Grapevine Farmers —Records of Grapevine Farmers Association organized in 1880 by about 32 farmers for self protection in absence of adequate law enforcement in northeastern Tarrant County, Texas. They lived on the "Grapevine Prairie," southeast of present Grapevine and northeast of present Euless, near the Dallas County line. Bird's Fort —A collection of documents, public records, newspapers and journal articles, etc., about the subject. Bedford Planters —List of Planters and Farmers in 1884 with an address of Bedford, Texas, the only post office then the present Bedford, Euless, Hurst area. Jack Day and The Glade-- A biography of Andrew Jackson "Jack" Day and an explanation of his relationship with Pleasant Glade community, often called simply The Glade. He was a 70+ years resident of The Glade, owned considerable property, was a community leader, and donated land for a church and a school.[WGC Note —I have a sizeable folder of material about The Glade community, especially the church, the school, and Parker Memorial Cemetery. I will donate it to the UTA Special Collections when I have organized it.]
