HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCPD Resolution IndexCRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT RESOLUTIONS Resolution # Date Approved Description 95-01 September 29, 1995 A resolution of the Temporary Board of Directors of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District, calling a Sales and Use Tax Election to be held within the City, making provisions for the conduct thereof and resolving other matters incident and related thereto.  95-02 November 14, 1995 A resolution canvassing returns and declaring results of a special election held in the City of Euless, Texas, on November 7, 1995, for the adoption or rejection of the levy and collection of an additional one-quarter of one percent sales and use tax for the creation of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District; and declaring the creation of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District.  96-03 June 25, 1996 A resolution adopted by the Board of Directors of the Euless Crime Control and Prevention District relating to taxation of telecommunication services and providing for notification to the comptroller of the State of Texas of the adoption of such resolution.  00-04 June 13, 2000 Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District, calling a Sales and Use Tax election to be held within the City for continuation of the Euless Crime Control and Prevention District, making provisions for the conduct thereof, and resolving other matters incidental and related thereto.  00-05 August 18, 2000 Resolution canvassing returns and declaring results of a special election held in the City of Euless, Texas, on August 12, 2000, for the adoption or rejection of continuing the levy and collection of the one-quarter of one percent sales and use tax for twenty (20) years and continuing the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District for twenty (20) years.   00-05 August 18, 2000 Resolution canvassing returns and declaring results of a special election held in the City of Euless, Texas, on August 12, 2000, for the adoption or rejection of continuing the levy and collection of the one-quarter of one percent sales and use tax for twenty (20) years and continuing the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District for twenty (20) years.  10-06 January 12, 2010 A resolution of the City of Euless Crime Control and Prevention District Board, authorizing the imposition of the Crime Control and Prevention District Sales and Use tax at the rate of one-fourth of one percent on gas and electricity for residential use; providing for the notification of the State Comptroller’s Office; providing for the notification of gas and electric companies within the boundaries of the City of Euless Crime Control and Prevention District; providing for the publication of said resolution; providing a severability clause, and declaring an effective date.   Resolution Numbers 07-10 were not used   19-11 September 24, 2019 A resolution of the Board of Directors of the Euless Crime Control and Prevention District, calling a special election on a measure to be held on May 2, 2020, pursuant to Chapter 363 of the Texas Local Government Code; placing a proposition before the voters to continue the Crime Control and Prevention District within the City of Euless, Texas, Tarrant County; establishing the dates and times for early voting for such election; and authorizing a contract with Tarrant County to furnish election services and equipment.  20-12 April 15, 2020 Postpone the May 2, 2020 election to November 3, 2020 for the continuation of the CCPD.  20-13 August 10, 2020 Amending Early Voting Dates for the CCPD continuation election to be held November 3, 2020  20-14 November 12, 2020 Resolution canvassing returns and declaring results of a special election held in the City of Euless, Texas, on November 3, 2020, for the adoption or rejection of continuing the levy and collection of the one-quarter of one percent sales and use tax for twenty (20) years and continuing the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District for twenty (20) years.   20-14 November 12, 2020 Resolution canvassing returns and declaring results of a special election held in the City of Euless, Texas, on November 3, 2020, for the adoption or rejection of continuing the levy and collection of the one-quarter of one percent sales and use tax for twenty (20) years and continuing the Euless Municipal Crime Control and Prevention District for twenty (20) years.
