CONSIDER PITTING - #P-89-02 -- C RR£?'CPED PIAT OF LOTS 4 & 5, BLOCK 14, t HDAR HILLS ESTATES ADDITION, 0.571 ACRES, LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SOUTH PIPELINE ROAD AND VINE STREET Mr. Roy Harcourt, 1100 Glenn Drive, 1.,,ul.ess, 'Pexas, husband of the owner of the property, presented the platting request. fir. Harcourt. stated Lhat the original Platt ng of the lots and the side yard setbacks required in the zoning ordinance would make building a single family residence on these lots nearly impossible. He stated that this plat woul.d change the frontage to South Pipeline Road rather than Vine Street. This would make the lot dimensions 100 x 125 toot. an-d 99 x 125 foot. Mr. Harcourt explained the purpose of this request is to n:ake it possible to place a single family residence on one of the lots and the other lot may be used for a residence at a later date. He was aware that funds for the water and sewer tap: were his responsibility and would be taken care of. Mr.. De.ithl.off made a motion to approve UP-89-02 in accordance with Jim McYanna's letter dated May 23, 1989, Mr. Hill seconded the motion and the vote is as follows: Ayes: Messrs. Ingram, Lie Lth l off, Hill, Balsinger, Zahn and Ty: r3"i Nays: None LI.. REPORTS Mr. `.e'Vler• reported the City Council's position on the D/F'd runway issue discussed at ;:he last council meeting. `ir.he City Council has vowed to f_gh-1- the runway due to t3he it would have on the property values and city's tax base. Mr. Tyler also reported on possible tut.ure plans to prepare a c:omprehi-nisive plan for the City of Euless in which this commission would be very much involved. Ill.
