'Phere bl-eing no further busine-s-,,; tc, c.-cmduct, the meeting aajo-urn;-?,' at Cl- JaCk Hill 1.;;•-: y9 • _ _„,„____ 4,1 k_futeim MEMORANDUM To: The Capital Improvements Advisory Committee From: Rod Tyler, Assistant Director of Development Date: May 1, 1990 Re: PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN Enclosed for your consideration is a copy of the Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) for 1990/2000 for the City of Euless. According to state statutes, before the City can implement Impact Fees, the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee must file written comment on the proposed CIP and Impact Fees a minimum of five (5) days before the date the City Council conducts a Public Hearing on the plan and fees. The City Council is scheduled to conduct such a hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting of May 22, 1990. Attached for your use is a proposed resolution conveying the Commit- tees comments and recommendations on the CIP to the City Council. Phil Phillips, Knowlton-English-Flowers, Inc. , Consulting Engineers, will be attending to present the proposed CIP. Many hours of work have been devoted to this plan and we urge you to recommend it' s adoption to the City Council. Item #2 is a statement of the Methodology for Calculating the Impact Fees. This item does not require action by this Committee, but is enclosed for your use. Should you have any questions or comments, please let me hear from you. /vk:mpactpro.cip attachments cc: Impact Fee Study Team CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION MAKING A REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING A PROPOSED 1990 - 2000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN AND LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS FOR THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: I. THAT after a public hearing and careful consideration and study of the proposed 1990/2000 Capital Improvements Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit "B", the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee is of the opinion and recommends its adoption with the inclusions of the comments stated in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof. II. THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, and shall constitute the report and recommendation of the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee. ADOPTED THIS 1ST DAY OF MAY, 1990.
