"Ir adjourned ir-,Ppting at 8:4' C—airm.an H-!AA ad urned t! .............. -`Hill RESOLUTION ci l at w.- WHEREAS, the 1983 General Future Land Use Plan is a public statement describing the City' s wants and desires with respect to land use; WHEREAS, the Euless City Charter charges the Planning & Zoning Commission with recommending a City Plan for the physical development of the City; WHEREAS; the 1983 General Future Land Use Plan serves as a part of the City' s plan for its physical development; WHEREAS, recent development activities in the northwestern portion of the City have made apparent a discrepancy between the official Future Land Use Plan and the Community's wants and desires; WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has reviewed this portion of the Future Land Use Plan and determined that it is in the public' s best interest to amend the Future Land Use Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: '1w. SECTION 1 That the official General Future Land Use Plan, dated 1983, be amended so that that area currently designated as single-family residential located north of Mid-Cities Boulevard and west of S.H. 121 be changed for commercial uses in accordance with the map labeled as "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part thereof; SECTION 2 That this resolution be conveyed to City Council for their consideration in a public hearing within 60 days of the approval of this resolution in accordance with the City Charter; ADOPTED this -c day oft , , 1991.
