The Pre-Camnission reeting of the Planning & Z,o� connissior: was
called to order by Chairman Jack Hill. at 6:00 p.m., in the Conference
Roan of the Euless Municipal Building.

Assistant Director of Development Rod Tyler briefed the Commissioners
on future events and meetings which will be co rung before the Planning
and Zoning Ccma.ssion an,/or City Council. The first is a request of
Metroplex Chapel far a Specific Use Permit. Secondly, there wi.l.l be a
future Capita? Improvements Advisory Comtni.ttee meeting. Imo'. Tyler
also stated that the City Council has rested the Planning arxi
Zoning C.camission to prepare an ordinance for landscaping requirements
and to also .implement an ordinance for site plan requirements.
The question was raised as to the possibility of delayiM bui-ldi.ng
permit issuance and thexefore the developers' work schedule if a site
plan ordnance was implemented.
Mr. Tyler distributed a draft residential survey regarding use of
property in residential zones. He stated that if this met with. their
approval and,/or if any changes need to be made, this surrey could be
mailed out with the water billings and returned with tike payments. He

stated that after the survey results have been gathered, a map could
be generated by our Geographic Information System (G.I.S. ) Departnent
for the O mmssiorers and City CourK-i.l.

The Commissioners worked together in preparing a map showing possible
.locations of future Land uses.

The Planning and Zoning Commission continued their meeting in the
Conference Room at 7:40 p.m., for the consideration of scheduled

Commissioner Zahn moved to approve the Plam ng & Zoning C=mizsion
minutes of December 3, 1991, as written.
Comiss.ioner Young seconded the motion and the vote was as follows:
Ayes: Commissioners Owens, Maloney, Deithloff, Young, Hill, Zahn and
Tyson
Nays: None
Chairman Hill declared the motion carried.

There being no further discussion, Chairman Hill adjourned the meeting
at 7:41 p.m.
