JANUARY" 21, 1992
The Pre.-Commission meeting of the Planning & Zoning Csa€r€€€rission was
called to order by Chairman Jack Hill at 6:15 p,m, , in the Conference
Room of the Euless Municipal Building

DISCUSSION OF GENERAL FUTURE _AND USE PLAN
Assistant Director of Development, Rod Tyler, displayed the Commis-
sioners' draft Future Land Use Plan Pap which was drawn up at the
January 7, 1992, meeting. The Commissioners commented ghat :here was
aiot of property designated for commercial and they speculated if that
much commercial land could be absorbed. The construction of SK 360
has created a large amount of commercial property bordering the
western side of the airport. SFr€€e suggested user for these commercial
areas along the S,H. 360 corridor are hotels, shopping centers and
office spaces, Also stressed was the demand for seeking more of the
public/private sectors involve€rent:. with the City and developers, as
was done in the development of Villages of Bear Creek, Las Colinas in
Irving and River Send and Ventre point i n Fort Werth.
The Commissioners stated that they will put their ideas and thoughts
down for further concepts and ideas to he discussed at the next
meeting on February 4, 1992.

There being no further, discussion, Chairman Hill adjourned the greeting
Commissioners Owens, Tyson, W it.hloff, Zahn and Chairman Hill remained
to continue their work on the future Land Use maps,
